About Team Sun Chaser

I was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer on May 18, 2023 at the age of 51. I had never smoked, I had no family history and I was a very active outdoorsman. “Lung Cancer???” My world was smashed and forever altered. Through much prayer and the support of my family and friends I eventually learned to accept my new normal and move forward again. In fact I began to thrive surprisingly. Now I am committed to being a part of the cure by supporting ALK+ research financially and vocationally. I am choosing to live with gratitude and joy in the hope that a cure will be found in my lifetime.
