About Team John

I was diagnosed with Stage 4 ALK Positive Lung Cancer on December 9, 2014 at age 37. I didn’t know that anyone with lungs can get lung cancer, so the diagnosis was a shock. About 70,000 people around the world are diagnosed with ALK Positive Lung Cancer every year, and like me most have no risk factors. With more research funding we may be able to extend the lives of those with ALK Positive Lung Cancer, and someday find a cure.
