About JaimeStrong 2023

Jaime Posada was diagnosed with Stage IV NSCLC with an ALK+ mutation in 2017. With no symptoms, he only learned of his diagnosis after going on a trail run and falling and breaking a rib. The X-ray showed a mass in his Lung and after several tests, he was diagnosed and began treatment at the Lombardi Cancer Center at Georgetown hospital. 

In almost seven years, the Posada family has worked to raise awareness to the Lung Cancer of today and showcase the advancement of medical treatment. Nonprofits like ALK+ help raise money that fund specific drug research, like the ones that developed the targeted therapy drugs Jaime has taken since his diagnosis. 

To date, we've raised over $35k through t-shirt sales and fundraisers. Help us meet our goal in 2023.

ALK Positive is a patient-led organization dedicated toward improving the life expectancy and quality of life for ALK-positive cancer patients worldwide. We fund groundbreaking research and increase patient education, awareness and resources.
